Whether you are a seasoned photographer or a mother taking pictures of her children, you are going to take what you thought was the perfect picture, but find out later that the lighting was off, something was in the background or something appears to be growing out of the persons head (usually a tree branch, etc.). Well in a lot of cases, the picture can be saved by editing the picture with software tools.
I have included a sample picture below of some typical issues one might run into when photographing someone. The picture on the left shows that the subject was under exposed which makes her blend into the background instead of popping out of the picture. She also has a little shine to her face. The picture on the right shows the same photo after adjusting color and lighting. Notice the hudge difference in the picture? The subject now pops out of the picture and is the absolute center of attention. After making the adjustments above, I removed blemishes and reduced the shine on her face… All of these adjustments are standard modifications I make to my edited portraits, and is a major reason why photography is more than simply pointing a camera and pushing a button. It truely can be a lot of work.
Do you have a photo you would like edited? Give me a call. I would be happy to take a look at it and will let you know if the picture can be corrected and how much I would charge to fix it.
